Welcome … to the online home of Out & About Front Royal. Our monthly magazine is designed to highlight and promote businesses, attractions and events in the Front Royal-Warren County area. We hope to shed new light on the things to do, the places to go and the people to see in and around our fair town.
We will be featuring local restaurants and the secrets to their success. We hope to include local recipes from all the places you love to eat as well as those from around your own dining room table. We hope to include surveys over the coming months that will allow you, the reader, to submit your opinions for restaurants with the best sandwich, the best service, the best milkshakes, the best fries, etc.
Each issue will feature a map of the Town of Front Royal as well as a map for Warren County. Newcomers, visitors and even those who have lived here forever will be able to navigate their way to and from events, shopping and dining with ease.
Rich history abounds here in Front Royal, each month we plan to feature an historic event, historical landmarks and/or museums and broaden the knowledge that our past has to offer. We hope to draw out the citizens of Front Royal/Warren County to discover their past and enjoy all the drama our history has to offer; at the same time, these unusual tidbits of history will show visitors what a unique town we have to offer.
There is an endless list of things to do in our town while enjoying the great outdoors. From canoeing, camping, or hiking to shopping, concerts or just having a picnic, we intend to highlight an area of interest each month. We plan to offer safety tips for canoeing, secrets to catching the “big fish”, as well as which wine is the best for your picnic lunch.
